Are the units already being shipped?

on theInquirer front page they said that they have no word of the price or when they will ship to resellers, so it wont be anytime soon.

I saw some prometeias on sale on ebay.

They don't have a license to sell them in America yet from what I heard....it's going to be atleast 6 months and expect them to cost a grand....

That's what I heard from a prometeia reseller...take it for whatever it's worth to you

1 grand??? You gotta be kidding!! Might be worth $100-$150 premium for the extra 40 watts of cooling.

They better not make to many, costs a lot for storing all the inventory!!!!

The price might not be 100% true, not sure. We'll just have to wait and see...

Almost 2k canadian, I payed $1000 for my Prometeia and can jusitfy it as I then used a $100 cpu and made it way faster than the fastest available, however I can not really justify 2x the price for NOT 2x the performance :/

if they are $950 = screw that
$768 I might consider.

that really isnt too bad -- a vapo PE Ti is about $600 by the time it is dropped on your doorstep and you have to sink another $75 - $100 into a PSU that will power it and the rest of the system.

Remember to add the price of CPU-kit and display - that's almost 200$ alone. it sucks that this isn't included like on the VapoChill's.

I'm not sure the kit is exluded , but thats 50 euro...
Dont see why you need the display on the Mach 2 either ;)

And hey, you can go and buy a Vapo for half the price, just dont expect to get record breaking overclocks then :-\ :(

I'd consider paying $950 if they offered a dual system which cooled the VPU, and CPU. They can keep the case, and I'll go to my local Wallmart and grab a Gillete poster ad. Then I'll have the Prommie Mach III to go with my phoney benchmarks!
