the weathers getting warmer here now in the UK so might have to drop the clocks down a touch on some of the rigs as they are warming up .. especially the little 1700s folding away 24/7 at 2450mhz but will still do best possible :banana:

I cant get my Barton 2500 anywhere near that on an Epox 8rda+:mad:

Glad your on the beta testers team though, should sort out any problems with ocing and gromacs:D

no probs with the gromacs at all ..... glad to help ....heres a screen shot taken the other day off one of em ... temps are up a little though lately ... the old alpha pals are doing a good job though .... would put a deltas on em but then sleep would be a no go zone lol also got voltage down to 1.775 in bios now might try lower as that should help with temps

Well just into overclocking, but not very good at it yet:rolleyes:

Just discovered as3 so temps are at 41c from 52c with a full gromacs load. This is my first handbuilt rig so some of the components aren't up to the job. Hyperpower 350watt psu, Sietec 512mb 3200 mem(2 of in dual channel config) :mad: but an Epox 8rda+ and barton 2500+ cpu:D . Heatsink is a coolermaster alps hhc-l61 with a delta 7000rpm fan.

Any advice gratefully recieved. May just get a chance to cross the pennines and see you in person next week some time, as its the Easter break(Teacher here not pupil:stick: )

First thing i see is barton ... heard/read they arnet that good at clocking ... but without hands on experience i will reserve judgement on that one ,,,, also with your vast folding experience and knowledge maybe share a few tips as well .... hehehe ... pm / e-mail me if ya decide to come this way and we will sort it out

I know what you mean about the increasing temps here in the UK majormav - yesterday it was pretty hot and the comp room here which is normally fairly cool was damn hot - I was scared that I might have to reduce some ocs to prevent crashing but so far all is ok touch wood. I did get a bit scared when my photoshop rig which normally hits 58 tops at max load went up to a toasty 65 (on an abit nf7-s 1.1 tho so I don't think the temps are exactly spot on).
