Without Cutting the bridges of the Athlon XP CPU :)
Everythig you must do is paint pins on the backside of CPU like on the picture below

http://www.bww.republika.pl/mnoznik%201700+.jpg

After that you will have multipliers:

-bios---|---workslike-
-mobo-|----------------
-AUTO----------x13
--x7-------------x17
--x9-------------x17
--x9.5----------x18
--x11-----------x13
--x11.5-------x13.5
--x12-----------x14
--x14-----------x13
--x15-----------x13

Now i'm trying to do this with my old good Palomino (Unlocked)

Or you could just buy a Abit NF7-S ;)

Hmm.. I have access to all mults (have tried between 10x and 13x @ 170 fsb) on my Abit KR7A-Raid (kt266a) board with a JIUHB 1700+ 0308 with no mods of any kind.
