any reason to believe the cores on the x1950 cards are any better than those on the x1900 cards? 1.2vgpu is extremely low for that 3D core speed...

With core @ 730 you should be able to hit 15400+

I have 15100 with single X1900XT @ 735/868 and e66 @ 3.6 ghz.

Too close to call on retail versions.
Although the core does scale nice with low vgpu...0.25 Beta 16 pre 3
vgpu does work on X1950's checked with DMM.
Now if we can get VDDC/VDDQ working would be nice. :)
VDDC - 1.92 / VDDQ - 1.92 stock no change using ati tool.

Is that with relaxed timings? Seems so to me

New ATT beta 3 has an option to keep tight timings

Yep...

15K done easy again with only 1.395-vgpu/1.384-vddci....

OMG
Not that`s one fast card ...
my E6400 @ 3.6GHz + 7900GTX (770/920) aircooled is full 2k slower :slobber:

Dyn, real vGPU when 3D benching is 1.425v
1.175v is 2D volt ^_^

still, nice result and nice card.

seem mine with stock cooler and stock volt. :)

Dude, something makes me think that mem has dead slow timings.

Here's my compare with E6600 @ 3.60 and X1900XT @ 735/868:

No LOD or other tweaks used

its 1.575 in ati tool just checked lol so use to 7900/7800
...but real vmods is needed for this puppy :D

Im thinking both vgpu/vddci use same solder/read points as with 1900's using an 50K vr...1.6 will not be enough need more...:D

@ VW nice 3D results m8..:toast:
I am almost certain 1.41 is 3D mode for 749.25 had an DMM on vgpu read
point for entire 05 run...;)
I am still trying to find max core/vgpu b4 I freeze and vmod this card...:)

@ LenniZ yes GDDR4 is has higher latency not as tight as past GDDR
also remember your compare is with different Cat version then one im using.
Maybe another factor of slower end result. I did not use any LOD or special
tweaks either just straight performance settings for 1950 in CCC..

1.4v is the 3d volt. 1.175 is for 2d :)
