man I remember when I had a Diamond Monster Voodoo 2 back in 97. Glad to see they are back in action though I have seen their products around the big box stores for a little while now.

What do you all think about the pricing / performance vs the x1900xtx ?

The sapphire x1900xtx is ~300 after $30 rebate.
How does sapphire's quality rank compared to Connect3D, ATi and MSI?

they're all made by ATI, different resellers just put their sticker on the heatsink and flash with their BIOS. get the cheapest one you can find and be done with it.

ATI, Club3D and Sapphire are made by Sapphire actually. I know Asus has their own plant, but I don't know about eVGA, BFG adn MSI for example.

Where did you get this? ::)

Club3d is popular in Europe but it is not usually very good clocker :slap:

eVGA makes their own cards I am pretty sure... they were or still are building the reference cards for Nvidia.. or so I heard. I also think I remember hearing that Sapphire did make the ATI branded cards... a long while back when I was having fun with my 9700Pro.. hrm.. so that would mean they're making all these cards.. I reckon.

I'm not sure if it's still the case, but with the 9800 and 9700 the only difference between Sapphire and Club3D was the stickers.

I don't think that's really true actually. Maybe people think this because Club3D was always considered a "cheap" brand, but infact it's not really cheaper than Sapphire or many other brands.

Nobody makes their own high-end cards since the days of X800 / 6800's.
