Well seeing as our review section here has been down for months, and seemingly will be for the forseeable future (:() my latest article has been posted over at liquidninjas :).
Check it out if you will and let me know what you all think .

Excellent comparison! I would be most interested in seeing some HyperX in action, I want something that is going to give me enough headroom to hit 250-270fsb on a canterwood :D

So would I......If Kingston would ever answer my emails :(.
Basically whatever I cant get direct from manufacturers i will try to borrow off friends. I should be able to get a fair old pile of memory like that anyway, but obviously the support of the manufacturers would be better .

Pilsy, I am going to buy 2x 256mb sticks of HyperX3500 this week, I am open to allowing you to use one of them in your tests I suppose :) Although I would probably want some kind of "insurance" that you wouldn't break/steal my shiney new ram hehe :)

Pilsy, we're in the process of getting the front page fixed now. We expect to have it back up to par really soon. Don't give up on us quite yet, we have always charished your reviews;):D

Very good review Pilsy...thanks!:D
Maybe this will help to remove the stigma that many people still assoicate to OCZ, even after all this time. I also look forward to a Kingston HyperX review as I run it in my main rig and am very happy with performance.

Wildkard - thanks for the kind offer :).
Ofcourse if anything gets broken itll get replaced - standard rules ;).
Remember im in the UK, so if youre in another country it probably wouldnt be worth it :).
Cheers for the kind comments as well.
Tweaked - ive not given up on xtreme, believe me :). It was just a case of having waited 6 weeks to get the review posted and getting pressured to get the review up :). There will be many more to come - fear not :).

Nice review Matt. I just ordered a couple 256 sticks of the TwinMos PC3700, hope it works out for me. Trying to better some benches with my 2x512 xms3500 sticks, the double sided density is holding me back possibly above 200 FSB (though I can boot into windows at 217 FSB - but not stable in 3D or Prime).
Not sure whether it's memory, cpu, or the nf7-s 1.2 chipset holding me back, but I plan to find out!

WxChaser - My friend had the exact same problem. It turned out that certain multipliers didnt like going over certain FSBs. Anything between 8.5 and 10.5x wouldnt budge over 202fsb, whereas above or below that worked fine all the way up to 217mhz. Try messing with the multi :).
Also make sure youre using 1.7v chipset (undoubtedly you already are).

Thanks Matt, I'll give that a go, but I have changed the multis quite a bit and the road block on my rev. 1.2 board always hit around ~200 FSB. I see Randi is having similar problems with one of his boards also from a reply he made today in another post.
I did the Vdd mod and am running at 1.825V for the chipset voltage, higher made no difference with this problem. Hoping the new Northbridge on the 2.0 Abit NF7-S boards is better and more stable at higher front side bus speeds...will know on Wednesday when it gets here!
Matt,
drop me an e-mail or PM, if you wanna borrow some HyperX PC3500 I have 2*256mb Sticks.

Man, that's some nice review you got there :toast:
One Q - you're saying, that the AGP voltage on 4PEA+ is also chipset voltage? What's that all about?

I must say that is a very nice review... I myself cannot get my Corsair XMS PC3500 past DDR480 :( even with relaxed 2.5-3-3-8
I am limited to only v2.7 max on my Gigabyte board

I was very pleased to find out that there was no problem at all with running TRCD 2 for this stick.
Lucky you, some of us can't with OCZ memory for some unknown reason. But then I'm not using a similar setup.
