Prometeia Heater problem

The heater for the back of the mobo on my prometeia has a problem, i think it is what killed my last nf7-s, when i took it off to look what could be wrong i saw that there were some burn marks on the motherboard and a strange smell was coming from the heater thing, any ideas on what i should do with the heater thing? See if i can get a new one? or just take out the heater and replace it with some neoprene?

It would be a good idea to email chip-con so they are aware of the problem. I have never used the heater, I always used the foam. Never a problem with mine and have switched mobo,s several times.:)

yes, inform chipcon about that...

But personally I have found those heaters rather pointless... if you'd just insulate with some neoprane that would be fine really.
