I think I'm going to pick up 2x 256mb sticks of ram, I'm currently using OCZ PC3700EL and it does 242fsb with medium timings.

What do you guys think my best choice is Kingston HyperX3500 or Twinmos PC3700 I'm hoping for something that does 240-270fsb with decent timings(maybe wishful thinking?) with 2.8-3v not much more :) (after all i dont know how higher canterwood voltages are going to be!)

Theyll be used in both AMD/Intel setups so whatever is most friendly to BOTH setups would be great

I haven't heard very good things about the 3700 twinmos, in fact I've seen people say to avoid it...

hmm....I can confirm your opinion of the 3700EL DDR. I might wait until Geil releases their Golden Dragon PC3700/4000 part. That should be any time, def. before the caterwoods though. OCZ has plans for a PC 4000 part as well, just not sure when.

My 2 256 hyperx3500's run 220 42221 dual sync.. I believe the MB is the limiting factor for higher.

GeIL sometimes has compatibility problems with AMD mobos. Usually EPoX ones. However, the Kingston HyperX is very high quality, but I don't know if it'll still reach the speeds you wish it to. I can't comment on the Twinmos since I've never used their memory.
