My NF7-S v2 reads about 12*c higher than my temp probe mounted about a 1/8" away form the core on the bottom of the wb. I think it is about 10* off.

My NF7-S v1.2 was 8-10*c higher as well.

I f i compare my old kg7 to my nf7 rev1.2 the offset is around 15°C but that doesn't take in to account the room temp which went a bit up so i would say there a 10°C offset

Heh, I don't even care what motherboard temperatures say anymore, I go by how far I can stably OC, my NF7-s 2.0 said my cpu was 21c under full load in my Prometeia @ 2.6ghz 2.2v :/ couldve just been the Dielectric grease insulating heat though!

Just remember, the actual temperature value is meaningless. However, any temperature Delta is still dead on accurate. Just record your temp at default speed, clock the snot outa it, and look at the change in temp. It really DID go up that many degrees, even though u can't be sure of what your baseline temp was.

Once you come to accept the fact that the temp value is meaningless, you'll start to focus on the fact that it only the overclock and stability matter.
