I've got no real issues with E.A. (although patch 1.3 was annoying), but I often get a problem where I shoot someone with a sniper rifle and I see dust or smoke appear, but it doesn't register as a hit. This happens like 3-4 times a round and it's a bit annoying. I try to join servers with low latency but it still happens (my ping is usually 20-40). Thanks.

Native widescreen support and patches for older games to give native widescreen suport would be nice. In this day and age, patching and hacking files to get this to work is ridiculous.

yeah man i see that all the time too. and for anyone here who is a TV gunner, the shots still go straight through the choppers. also, in the new patch you can't access your commander screen while dead :(.

I just bought C&C First Decade for 45$. It has all the C&C's up to Generals Zero Hour. All compatible with XP thanks to EA!!!!!!
BF2 is a great game, I have no issues with it. The only bug I've seen with the latest patch is using the paddles for reviving sometimes gets screwed up and you haft to wait a few extra seconds for them to recharge. But who cares the game is just too f'n awesome. The sniper rifles are the best and there are lots to chose from. Use the games disadvantages to your advantage and you wouldn't be so pissed.
If a gaming giant like EA buys out the smaller company that were pumping out your favorite titles you should be worried that their going to turn the gaming series into $hit. But from what I've seen, EA has done the complete opposite, they bring to the next level.

Alot of their games are to often only smal updated versions of the previous game (but this can be said about almost all game developers)

EA is big and has alot of money but tbh treats the fanbase of some of their games very badly when it comes to support.
people call them evil cause they usually seem to be init for the quick buck by hyping and marketing a game bigtime and after the game is in the shelves stop caring about it. Most of the people buying those certain games dont care about the bugs or flaws as they see it as normal, sadly only the few actualy care about the flaws in the game and get mad about it.


To often EA brings games they have bugs or flaws wich nvr get fixed or take months/years to get fixed wich gives me the idea that EA doesnt care as u already paid for the game and they already got ur money.
i dont want to wait 6 months before they fix a bug in a game that shouldnt have been there in the first place.
(examples: many bugs in BF2 and MP problems in some C&C games and i wotn even start about The Godfather).


and dont even bother sending the complaints to EA as many forums/sites have done it and stil EA hasnt changed.


some people defend EA by saying: o wel only 10% of the people playing this game ur problem so it has to be u and not the game.
or: Wel EA didnt develop the game. True some games EA only publishes but they got alot of power and control over those that did develop it.

So to be short, there are publishers and developers that got my trust (even though they sometimes :banana::banana::banana::banana: up) like epic, Atari, Sega etc and there are those that have to do a hell of alot to regain my trust like EA.

btw shouldnt this be in PC gaming as EA is alot bigger then just Bf alone.

they need to make the graphics better for BFME2... personally the graphics just didn't meet up to my standards, mostly in the movies... they were boxy and weird! and the shadows were kind of blurry too, they need to update their graphics engine...

oh... and they absolutely need to release a new C&C game. man i miss those.
and they need to bring back traditional parts, i didn't like generals as much though it was still very good.
