I found this official nVidia guide for EMT64 SuSE, but to a linux n00b - me, I have no idea what to do lol.
http://www.suse.de/~sndirsch/nvidia-installer-HOWTO.html
Any one care explaining is much appreciated.
btw I got my Canon i450 printer to work with stock Linux Canon BJC 7004 driver, the head moves faster but it prints.

Alrighty people, I figured it out!!!
First go to YaST install and update the kernel, then end current session
Press ctrl + alt + f2 to get into konsole, enter username and password
type "init 3"
go to the directory with nvidia driver.run
sh the-driver.run -q
follow the steps and finish, back to level 3 konsole again
type sax2
DONE
lol a guide will be up soon, of course lots of pics hehehe

After you update your kernel and kernel sources, reboot the system into runmode 3 by entering the number 3 as a boot parameter to LILO or Grub. Then install the nVidia driver from a text console. After you configure it in sax2, execute 'init 5' to bring the system back up to an X-Windows login. Just don't forget to go back and exit the text console's root login which will still be sitting there.
Don't forget, you'll need to have gcc and make and the kernel sources installed so that the nVidia driver can recompile its kernel interface if you have a newer kernel installed than it recognizes.

grr no more guide, I'm still too n00b at this.
I updated the kernel through YOU-system update, got the new kernel, and system won't boot into init 5 anymore... says it's missing some file, grrr had to reinstall SuSE again but glad it didn't take long.
