The controller has a PCI-E 4x interface and supports 8 sata drives (4 drives 2 channels). I'm running 4 raptors on raid=0.
I installed this controller on to Asus A8N32-SLI mobo which is running two 7900gtx cards in SLI. So both pci-e 16 slots are also full.
I'm running the latest firmware/drivers.
I was able to configure the arrays and do a fresh windows install. But after that It started gibing me the hell. It just won't boot most of the time.
So far, no warm boot was possible (via reset button or windows restart). Cold boot randomly works. I can say the ratio is 10 to 1 (only one succesful boot out of every 10 tries). But once it boots, it works very stable.
When I try to boot, the bios won't initiate for about 60 seconds then either hungs after it recognizes usb devices or just gives me the "no booting device available" error message. 9 out of 10 times, the bios wont recognize the controller.
Any ideas?
