After hardass helped me configure my settings I finally got my first WU. With the settings I was using before it would take a whole day to do 1/100. So now I got it right.

thanks for the config, it would have taken about 100 days to do a whole WU going by how long it took to do one part which was a whole day ;).

I've never ran SETI, but chances are it would be faster if you were not running both at the same time.

I was running 2 instances of F@H and my frame times should have been double because of it. But.....it was more than double.

Example: Frame time was 8 minutes per frame for 1 instance. When running 2 instances (both the same protein), I expected frame time to be 16 minutes per frame. Actual was 18 minutes per frame, so I quit running 2 instances of F@H.

This was MY experience and I won't say everyone will experience the same thing.

Is 7 minutes per whatever you call it ok for protein a. Well I know its ok but is that about right for what I'm running at (1820). I had to lower cpu speed cause its hot in texas.

Are you still running both?

Chong345

nope
doing 20 of each or maybe just 10

I just happen to be processing a ProteinA right now @ 1640mzh. Average time per frame 7.74 minutes.

I would say you are right in the ballpark. :)

GAAA tetraloop right now at 3minutes per frame

GAAA tetraloop and GAGA tetraloop are the ones I am getting buried with now with an occasional proteinA thrown in.
