I know this can add load on the search server but it certainly would make things easier for me.

Why? Because i might be looking for BH memory, or any one of gskills products, for example, right now im searching for G.S.tech's thread on gskill zx and the search function wont find it for me, and my odds are better off using google.

Now, this actually isnt that big of a deal, if google is prefered and dont want the search function to get overloaded i can understand that. But if our goal is to have an effective search i know this would make my life just a little bit easier.

:toast:

edit - found another good reason, i cant search for XS OS.

I know right, but I am not sure if the administrators can improve the search function because I think that's how all vBulletins work. Maybe you can contact vBulletin.

Search for three letter words is supported since vBulletin 3.6. You can add words below min char count manually.

but wouldnt such a detail search slow down the forums. thats the reason alot of forums dont use the search function because of the impact to the overall speeds.
