Lo all,
I have just ordered a Vapochill PE and Barton 2800+ along with a 9800Pro. These are paired with my Epox 8rda+ (2x256 XMS3500).

Im looking forward to tweaking this new Rig. I have the 8rda+ running with a 2200+ (SLK-800), Ti4600 at the Mo. I avg 15k 3d2001 Marks and 2081 3dmark2003.

Is there anything serious I need to know regarding the Vapochill PE, surprises, issues, Tips etc.. ??

Im looking forward to tuning this new Rig. My first step in the serious cooling Market.

Thanks,

Brett

Hi Brett,

I don't have any experience with the new Vapochill, but I'm dying to know what the Barton 2800 will do in that setup! Keep us informed of your progress:D

You can be sure I will post all OC results/with Barton and 9800 :)
Plus revision numbers blah blah blah.

Thats as long as I dont blow anything up while installing :)

Blew my 4600 when installing in my 8rda+ v1.0. Know why now :)

Im using one, 1700xp @ 2650mhz, Had a good 2100 but it wouldnt do over 2550 no matter how many volts.

The mounting will be awkward at first, Make sure you get the evap head bent perfect so i just about lays on the chip @ 90 degrees, And put the whole thing on it's side.

Practice a few times on a crappy duron or other chip you have. I trashed a 1600, 5 months ago. Now i can put it on with my eye's closed.

Get the newest firmware for the chill control also. Since your's is new it probably has it anyway.

Get a good PS, my antec 550 is also powering my Swiftec GPU with Tec no problems.

Keep us posted.
