I also pushed to the 750 limit recently with old pair of X1900s + CAT 6.6 (no special driver tweaks) - it was with different board thou.. ;)

i forgot to use cat 6.8's for 01 :slap:

o well, something to shoot for *next* time ;)

going on Vacation for a week starting Monday 9-11 (driving NOT flying)
needless to say i feel very content after these scores and will happily surf the web on the laptop without ANY thoughts of benching or OCing :woot:

Sweet :) I smashed the 800 barrier yesterday.

X1950master @ 798/1143MHz
X1900XTX @ 900/873MHz

No screen thoug since i pushed the cpu to hard (trying to catch up with K|ngp|n) and never got a complete result befoe I ran out of dry ice for the master card.

Btw I tested 06 on these clocks in seperate tests (dry ice pot is just a temp one til i get my solid ones from MM so it cant hold load for :banana::banana::banana::banana: in 06, dropping from -60 to -30 coldplate temp). It is looking really good for ATI with 6.8 and the increased memory bandwidth. No doubt we will see 16500+ on X1950 Crossfire.

i was trying to remove the last 3x ViperJohn MEM HS's from my XTX so i could insulate it for some Dry Ice action....


i successfully removed 13x of these HS's by using D-ice to freeze the "glue" ...
this technique worked on ALL but the VERY last 2x




then i beat on it with a wrench :shocked::bsod: :nuts: :owned:

oh man.... i did that once, but with a 7800 gt. I got to the last one, and i was using a wrench to twist it. Started to twist, the i feel a "ssscchchchhhh...." and off it came. My heart just stopped. That was the last time i used AS epoxy. Now i just use some tape from Fry's.
