Why kaspersky anti virus soo laggy

After I install this software my computer instantly become very laggy. during the scanning usually I can go with multi program with out any lag. but now I cant even play warcraft 3 with kapa scanning :( . just wondering if this ever happen to any of the kaspersky user out there? I notice it really ain't my comp problem as I just bought it yesterday.

yep that program doesnt really know when to back off. I dont relly care anymore though as it doesnt slow me down with my 4ghz conroe and 4 raptors in aid 0...lol
