did not receive e-mail with activation link

hi, i doenst receive the e-mail with the activation link, already try too request the password again but it seems unsuccesfull... Why thisis hapenning?

I had the same problem.. I just waited a few days, then I was able to use my account. The admins are probably just activating accounts manually.

I registered about 2 days ago now, and have been waiting on an activation conformation email! Does it take this long, or am I being impaitent, any advice is helpful!

Most, if not all of us have been having this problem for several months, of no emails coming through. No explanations as to why, either.

Don, there have been several threads about this. Once FUGGER gets the new server running the email system will be up and running again. Right now he is having problems on this server. So guys just hang in there and it will get fixed.

ahh ok. Well in all the threads i've seen, no conclusive answer has been given (most likely my fault, for not looking far enough).

Me neither... account seems to be working fine. Every once in a while I'd get to something that required me to activate my account though (haven't seen that for a while now - maybe it's activated).

Same here, i tried joing for a few months and got nothing with my aol account. I just assumed it was like Anandtech and wouldn't let you join, but now with my new dslextreme it worked! :D I'm no longer a lurker :p:
