Why I want the game? Well, I played the demo for awhile....then went ~5 months with a Radeon 7000 so that killed all my gaming. Now I have my X19XTX and am getting back into gaming. More reasons why I want the game:

1. I couldn't even use my pc for half the summer due to upgrading; I had to sell my old parts before I bought new parts. I NEED to get back into gaming.:p:

Well my brothers all game like crazy... and i build systems, bench and review all day... and whenever i feel like playin a game... i cant cause we only have one copy of BF2... and id really like to pwn my brothers every which way... :D

My 9 year old nephew has been fighting Leukemia for about a year and half now. His mother, a single parent of 2 boys, Isaiah (9 Years), and Zach (10 Months) have been struggling day to day trying to get by. I help out when I can on things.

He LOVES video games, only thing he has is a gameboy with a few games that he plays nonstop. He is in homeschool because of his condition, so he is home all the time. My mother watches the boys when my sister is at work. All he ever has to do is his gameboy. I let him on my computer everytime he comes over and he loves it.

I had a very close cousin die at the age of 11 to Leukemia some years ago. I can not even think about losing my nephew. But so far treatments have not been very effective. So I decided for his birthday (Nov 15th.) that I would
build him a brand new computer for his birthday. I was gonna give him mine, but mine overheats like crazy so I decided he can have the one I was going to build. I would get me another one later. The system was about $3000 which is pretty much all my money. I got him 2 games Need for speed Most Wanted, and Call of Duty 2 as that was all I could afford after the system. I plan on buying him more for Christmas when I get more money. But a game for free never hurts :)

Also one last thing, are there any very good Car games out for PC that anybody can recommend? He is a diehard car fan, if it has wheels he loves it.

I just lost this game :/. No CD's left,broken by my little brother, and my computer reformatted because of a virus. The whole time, i played the 1.3 patch. It got me seriously mad. I hated it, bugs and crashing to desktop. It just made me frustrated every single time. When the new 1.4 patch just came out, I was furious. I'maddicted to this game, I have no money, spent all on presents and necesities for my family. If only i could play this game once more, to enjoy hopefully a bugfree BF2, it would mean the world to me.

ok, this story isnt even about bf2, but it shows how much i get into games...

so i'm playing command and conquer generals zero hour multi-player with my roomate, and him and me are on the same team, playing against 3 hard armies and a medium army, so 4 on 2. well, my strategy is to build an iron curtain of defense and eliminate the opposition with super weapons. my roomates strategy is to barely build a defense and attack as soon as possible.

well he was getting attacked by 3 armies all at once on one single side, and he's yelling for me to help him. so i send like 5 dozers over to try to build some EMP patriot missles to help defend him. in the meantime, he is like telling me its not worth it and is literally just letting them beat him. i run into his room, and am all crazy, like. 'LOOK, TAKE THIS ONE WORKER YOU HAVE LEFT, SEND HIM INTO MY DEFENSE, AND FRICKIN START REBUILDING INSIDE MY PERIMETER! NEVER GIVE UP, SAMNIT, WE HAVE THESE GUYS!!!'. he thinks i'm retarded, but he does it. so he starts building in my defense with one little worker (all he had left). those 3 armies destroy all his buildings, but hit a brick wall when they come to my defenses. in the mean time, my roomate is using the rest of the space i have in my perimeter for his buildings, so i just build a massive amount of commanche helicopters and tons of infantry. by the time my roomate had a super weapon built up again, i had eliminated all but one army by myself, and just when he was gonna launch his one superweapon, i used 4 of mine at once to finish off that last army lol. all he says is , 'wel, that was a waste of time for me' now, the moral of the story..i said, hell no it wasn't!! you didnt give up! i never give up, no matter how bad im losing. and i proved it to him that you can make a comeback, you just have to regroup by assessing the situation and making a battle plan and sticking to it.

no. i worked my ass off in the summer. 2 government classes + a job... i made like $1.3k and spent it all on this comp (ordered the parts online). some of the parts came from my last build (and the money from my work last summer)...

but hardware is different from software. hardware can't shoot people so i can buy it with no problems... software.. eh... here's how it looks:

I built this nice gaming rig (see my sig) back in April, pretty much drained my funds but I wasn't too worried because I was going to go back to my job from the last summer (I just finished my first year of college). Unfortunately I found my boss went out of business and I couldn't get a job anywhere :( I only made a little cash here and there, just enough to keep gas in the car and pay car insurance.

Ok I have this new conroe setup and currently I cant get this da/\/\ thing past 3.24 to save my life (prime stable wise), its a motherboard limitation alot of ppl are saying, now while I cant afford to go out and buy a whole new mobo just to get a few more hundred mhz outta my chip, what I can do is play BF2 with you guys to help me forget about the fact that my pc is sooo slow...

I started playing back when the first online games began to hit. I think i had a Voodoo with a 200mhz AMD and 256 megs of ram.


I started real clan gaming when Rainbow Six came out... I sucked bad at the game and my computer wasnt exactly the hottest. It was a 400 mhz AMD with i think a Riva TNT card. I began to play the game 6 hrs a day. I had an ISDN connection that didnt cost to much after 8pm, so i would jump online and play singles matches and large groups. After about 2 months, i built a new system. I built an AMD Athlon 550 OCd to 1100 mhz. My processor had a 750 mhz core on it, so it was one of those cherry ones. I tossed in the new Leadek Geforce... This is also when i got seriously into watercooling. Cable was finally in my area, so i jumped on the broadband wagon. Having a fast computer helped me really become a better player. I also learned about higher resolutiion allowing me to see more and have some advantages. I tried out for a few clans, than got picked up.

I loved playing matches. It was a lot of fun smoking people because the clan i joined, were very good. I dont think it was more than 5 months down the road until Rogue Spear came out. That game changed everything for me. Much better graphics, frags, team work, weapons, maps, etc... I joined a new clan called S@N.. Stop At Nothing.. We dominated Mplayer for a very long time... As new versions came out, we jumped on it.. We were the number one clan.. I got so serious into this, that i bought a T-1.. $1500 a month and i was the host for the matches...

What ended my fun is when Mplayer got bought out by Gamespy... Mplayer has a lot of tournaments and it was fun playing in them. Gamespy just ruined everything.

I started back in clan gaming when UT2004 began... i played for Arstechnica.. we were a pretty good team, but eventually people joined in and sabotaged us in matches. It was a real let down. We also had clans setup for Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, Battlefield and CoD.

I would enjoy being apart of another clan.. It wouldnt be to hard learning battle field series as they are all pretty much the same in one respect or another. I love clan team work.. i enjoy a good raping on a map. Im not into camping or tard rushing. It would be nice joining up with a clan who have values, play fair, have good players and allow us to have a good time.

Now i just need the game....

My 9 year old nephew has been fighting Leukemia for about a year and half now. His mother, a single parent of 2 boys, Isaiah (9 Years), and Zach (10 Months) have been struggling day to day trying to get by. I help out when I can on things.

He LOVES video games, only thing he has is a gameboy with a few games that he plays nonstop. He is in homeschool because of his condition, so he is home all the time. My mother watches the boys when my sister is at work. All he ever has to do is his gameboy. I let him on my computer everytime he comes over and he loves it.

I had a very close cousin die at the age of 11 to Leukemia some years ago. I can not even think about losing my nephew. But so far treatments have not been very effective. So I decided for his birthday (Nov 15th.) that I would
build him a brand new computer for his birthday. I was gonna give him mine, but mine overheats like crazy so I decided he can have the one I was going to build. I would get me another one later. The system was about $3000 which is pretty much all my money. I got him 2 games Need for speed Most Wanted, and Call of Duty 2 as that was all I could afford after the system. I plan on buying him more for Christmas when I get more money. But a game for free never hurts :)

Also one last thing, are there any very good Car games out for PC that anybody can recommend? He is a diehard car fan, if it has wheels he loves it.

I just got the demo last night and went on a solo crusade and all I can say is wow, this has kinda the ame feel as bf2, but its alot better in some ways for me..
