So...I installed AIBooster and AsusProbe on my computer, and then I decided I wanted to remove them, so I did...a day later, changed my mind...now, when I tried to install it, I get an error right at the initializing stage (when the install shield starts):

Unhandled Exception
Error Number: 0x80040702
Description: Failed to load dll: asuninstallhlp
Setup will now terminate

So, when I uninstalled them, something happened....they're still in the add/remove programs (same error occurs when I try to remove) and I can't install, as it tries to uninstall, and can't find the file...

What do I do? (tried a quick rollback, and deleting the ASUS registry edits for the programs, nothing....still in the add/remove, and can't install).

Edit: Think I got it, could somebody please look in their Asus folders C:/Program Files/Asus

And in the AI booster and asusprobe, look for the .dll file and upload it here? I'd GREATLY appreciate that :)

you could go to olderversions.com and get jv16 power tools and do a registery clean, choose special select than items safe to remove it also has function to remove those listings in add remove that no longer are installed
than do an install

Ai Booter Dlls: Here (http://www.douglasr.com/ai_dll.zip). I don't use asusprobe .. sorry

Is it possible to install asus probe, then uninstall? For um....gratitude? :p:

Thanks for the DLL though! AIBooster is gone!

Anyone with the Asus Probe?

I have PC Probe but I'm not at my computer right now. But when I get on next I'll see if I can upload that DLL for you.

Hmm I don't see any "asuninstallhlp.dll" but there is a "asuninshlp.dll" is that the one you need? I uploaded it in a zip file here.
