I should've take a picture of the STB Voodoo 3000 my mom's computer had in it. I just paid a visit to it this weekend while migrating her computer over from one case to another.

Was looking for another Voodoo 2 (i think i have one somewhere .. ) and found this:

ATI card (ISA) with an "SLI" connector :)

Silver you bring back some memories for sure. In my small house many of those goodies made their way "elsewhere" long ago.

3Dfx was definitely a step ahead of em all, FCG. I find it very amusing how many technologies they had running that are at the foundation of so much we use now. So many users now just have no idea where the ideas started.

I also note in your first picture the transition from passive to active cooling. Remember when nothing had fans?
