How to recover deleted NTFS partition?

I went to reinstall WinXP and while I was at the setup screens I selected the wrong hard drive and deleted the NTFS partition on it. I however caught it that second and did not format the drive.

This was a backup drive with all my important files. Is there a way to recover this partition and the data should still be intact?

You have a good chance of getting it all back as long as you havent written anything on it.
