I hate asking noob questions as much as I hate asking noob questions:

Which company (ati, connect3d, msi, others) has best rebates, rma and of course benchies, or is there no pattern at all?

I belive Powercolor gives a life time warrenty. Or maybe it's a different company.

there's really not much a of pattern in regards to their performance, they will all perform the same because they are 99% of the time are the EXACT same cards. Sapphire's TOXIC watercooled one being an exception.

built by ati cards have great warranties.

i am awful and sent in my broken, expired sapphire 9800 pro 256 to ATI's RMA department and they replaced it within 2 1/2 weeks.

as for rebates, that's really determined by market demand. for example you can buy a X1900XTX for $274 AFTER REBATE on newegg from MSI. Granted, it is a $150 rebate. But, that still is an amazing deal. I myself actually plan on getting one.

ATI is awesome, i got my 9800pro 256mb rmaed in 2 weeks

That's the deal I was looking at, but my last experience with MSI (a geforce 4800se) was not a good one

Does MSI charge for RMA?

Like said, all cards are pretty much the same. Go for the cheapest,or the best bundle if you care about that.

As for RMA service, ive never had to RMA a card yet *touche wood*. I think Sapphire are alright?

MSI VGA Products are warranted for 3 year limited warranty (Two (2) years Parts & Labor, and the third Year Parts ONLY, shipping and handling fee will be required).

Sapphire sucks. They wanted me to pay $15 for my x800 vanilla ($80 card) rma.
Screw that! I rather have it crash every 10-15 hours of gameplay.

ATI RMA rocks.
