Right now I have azureus running. It's not eating up a whole lot of memory. But when i'm playing a game i'm not laggy or anything. BUt after when I quite my game, my pc freezes for a few minutes. This normal? never exprienced this before. I also have spyware doctor and mcafee enterprise 8 running as well. But still i have decent pc and I dont think I should have problems like this. I should aslo add When I was playing a steam game I was bidding something on Ebay. I would stop playing But not quite the game. I would just open up my browser (firefox 1.5) and check on ebay. Then I would just assume playing my game with no problems. But when I quite steam that's when It freezes up. Very wierd. God i'm so unlucky with PC.

I quit using Azeurus because of the memory usage. While Azeurus only uses 5MB of RAM the JAVA client used to run it tends to run into the high 80's to 100MB. Other times I would have the program completely crap itself because of memory leaks. Do yourself a favor and get uTorrent.
Your scenerio sounds like a longer occurance I have after I stop playing BF2. I can hear the music still playing for 1-10 seconds after I stop the game then it's another 30 seconds to get control back.

Open the Task Manager to see what process is causing the excess CPU Usage (Sort the column by CPU Usage) or memory usage... if its Azureus.exe or javaw.exe then it's Azureus. I would highly recommend using uTorrent also... the new version 1.6 is great. It doesn't use Java (I hate anything Java) and it's extremely lightweight on CPU and memory.

Just get the installation package. The other one you have to create the shortcuts, the installer does it for you.
