Does a monitor with a direction connection get better image quality than one on a KVM? If so, is it only the image quality that is affected or is there something else too? like refresh rates or something...?
Btw, the one I'm using is a Belkin.

I never had any problems with my KVMs. Please note that there is a maximum supported resolution and refresh rate. See your manual for more information.
Btw, I've only used Black Box KVMs, and those are ****ing expensive...

it does indeed lower the quality , i have seen a test with 10 of these switches and the result was pretty bad overall , however KVM wasnt included.

I was using the Linksys 2 port KVM and never had a problem with image quality, though it doesn't do DVI or have USB ports, so i don't use it anymore.
