7950 question

I'd say this is a crazy question but this is XS :)

Can you have it all? Can you run a 7950 SLI on a given monitor and run a second say 7900gt in another slot to drive a second monitor? The key here is does the SLI driver upon engaging shut down the other card or let it be?

you can use both seperately and power 4 monitors. Or you can put both in SLi and just power one.
