Pretty cool... So in the future I could get a X1950XTX master card to go with my X1900XTX (although that would be a dumbarse move as DX10 is coming up)

X1950CF + X1900
X1900CF + X1950

X1900CF + X1800 or X1950CF + X1800 should work

My question is are there any speed benefits from running a X1950CF card with a 1900XT(X) over X1900CF?
Has anyone done or seen those comparison benchmarks? I wonder if it's worth the $150 premium of 1950CF.

i would be willing to bet there is absolutely no advantage... i really dont see the point of this... it makes more sense for the x1800 as those masters are getting a little harder to find, but not for the x1900 when you could buy a x1900 master for less and get the same performance, as it will only be as fast as the slowest card... i am personally waiting for dx10, i will probably save my x1900 for a ppu.

No benefits, but you could make an upgrade in two steps.

yeah i guess, but then like others said, by the time you get around to upgrading, the dx10 cards will already be out, and master cards get difficult to find after the card's moment in the spotlight is over

the only benefit is that you'll hava a faster CF master card, if im not wrong x1900cf is slower than normal x1900XTX

yeah and the way prices are on 1900 master cards, you can probably pay just a few bucks extra and at least match your xtx speeds.

THat's pretty sweet. Been wanting to get a 1900MC for my XTX but they are becomming rare to find. Since this works so why not have something better. :D
