View Full Version : Looking for a mouse pad that makes my mouse glide like it's on ice

Ok, so here's the thing, I'm trying to find a mouse pad on which my mouse can glide with as little resistance as possible. I wanna be able to move my mouse by just blowing on it (ok that may be a little too much :p: ). Anyway, I own the fUnc 1030 mouse pad and I think the rough side is great, the mouse glides pretty well but the mouse pad is too small, plus it wears out (although it does last for a pretty long time). So I bought the fUnc F-Series 11x14in Competition Mousing sUrface F30.r, which is huge (I like) but not only was the the rough surface NOT as good as the 1030's right of the bat it also wore out much quicker. So I'm looking for a mouse pad on which my mouse can glide as least as effortlessly as it did on a new fUnc 1030 but it doesn't wear out for a looong time and is quite bigger (doesn't have to be as big as the fUnc F-Series 11x14in mouse pad).

*No glass mouse pads please

*It HAS to work perfectly with laser mice (I have a Logitech G5).

*I'm asking for mouse pads not mouse skates or the likes, so please do not suggest it.

Thanks!

Try the steel qck + it works great for me!

Qck+ is a cloth pad, it's highly resistant. I used hardpads for a while before I switched and I'm glad I did. You get more control on cloth than you do on that "glide on ice" feeling setup. Though I do feel hard pads are better for quick shots with sniper/rail. If you really want to glide, check out the steelpad S&S along with hyperglide mouseskates for your G5. The pad is great but the hyperglide skates seal the deal.

I agree there, cause with laser mice, HELLO your mouse pad is your DESK!

if anything sand it down with 800/1000/1500/2000 then use some kind of Lacquer or hardening agent. hehehehe going from modding computer to modding computer desk.
