so my case has 4x 80mm fan mounts right next to each other on the front of my case...

and the 120mm is in the back without enough space to mount a radiator and the processor and the video card all that darned close to each other.

but hey, that wouldn't be too big a deal, the PA160 is the perfect size for 4x 80mm fans... right?

except there are no shrouds designed for this style of mounting... :stick:

and me with the sort of power tools that'd be needed to make a quality shroud? :nono:

so... anyone think that i could get someone to make me a shroud and neoprene gaskets for me to mount a radiator in this cheapo case without requiring me to do any modding?

i already had to replace the switches with some friggin ugly things because they weren't soldered properly.

as you can see, i'm going to need to saw off my HDD bay's and stick em somewhere else as well, probably buy me the 120mm fan-mount hdd rack from mm. that's about the extent of any modding i'm willing to attempt, though. me and power tools really don't mix... :fact:

i'm holding off on my expensive build and going to just switch to water on my current machine.

shroud? make your own out of cardboard and duct tape? or some thin scrap pcs of aluminum and a tinsnip/scissor

hd mounts? maybe you could fashion some out of those HD racks with a little drill and some rivets like those at MM...

:( make my own? i'm not sure i'd be able to make a very good shroud... you think if i were to email thermochill and ask for a special-order on a PA160 with special shroud and gaskets they'd do it? i was kinda hoping for Marci to see this post, lol.

Did you look at his first post? He has 160mm of fannage at the front of his case, so he wants to mount a PA160 to those 4x80mm fans.

make cardboard, id say 160mm by 100mm, and use duct tape...

wrap cardboard to PA sides, shoot PA with cardboard shroud on 4 80mm fans...
and use more duct tape...
