I just recently bought a bunch of stuff to build my new gaming machine. but I am currently having problems getting my Crossfire Edition card installed without a hitch.
when I installed it in the master slot on my mobo and attached the power cable, the card doesn't register it and won't boot up with a message stating that there is no power supply hooked up to it.
So now im stuck using just my X1900XTX.
I ruled out that the crossfire could be faulty since i installed it in the secondary slot and the XTX in the master. I know this is an "illegal" install to properly set up a crossfire connection between both cards but it worked. only for the system to turn itself off once the crossfire was detected in windows.
I'm guessing it's a power issue but I'm pretty newbish when it comes to PSU's and +12v Rails
Below are my current settings minus the X1900 Crossfire Edition card.
If anyone here is able to school a gamer about my current problem I would so appreciate any help in the matter.
