It seems like the P5B-DLX is having way less problems than the DS4. Like The DS4 needs 1.8v ram to flash the bios. (or is that the DS3?)
Either way, i would go with the P5B-DLX, it seems like all of them are getting 500 FSB.

I'd vote for Asus p5b-Deluxe. It's a better board

i just bought the stuff in my sig, but the previous owner of the mobo had a E6300 and the P5B-DLX at 430 FSB without really playing around

p5B Dlx is the top choice "today" but $250 for a 965 board is a RIP OFF!
pity... and it's sold out at most places.

what you want to do!
if you want OC E6300 up to 420x7MHz DS4 is better choice for price 175$
if you want OC E6300 up to 525x7MHz P5B Deluxe is better for 245$
it can help you :

I'd go with the P5B deluxe. I got mine from clubit for $200 shipped, although right now I can't find any in stock for under $220 on froogle at least on the most reputable sites.

How does the P5B deluxe compare with the plain P5B in terms of overclocking and stability?

P5B-Deluxe beats the P5B very, very hard... IMO don't even think about the P5B-Non Deluxe

I purchased a p5b deluxe because people seemed to be getting very good overclocking out of them and not alot of complaints. I'm not sure of the specs of the ds4 but I chose the p5b deluxe over the ds3 because it had a 4x pcie slot I could use for physics in the future and I've always had great luck with asus. I have not been dissapointed. I replaced a badaxe with this board and overclocking has been so easy it is almost childs play.
