Here's my rig:
E6400
2x1GB DDR800 Twinmos twister CL5 (elpida ICs)
Asus P5B SLX Wifi
7900GT
BeQuiet dark power Pro 530W
Cooling: Scythe Ninja and Fander 120mm @1600RPM

I finally got my Asus P5B deluxe and it runs absolutely fine at stock. Stock is fine, but OC is even better, so I tried ocing a bit. So, this is what I did:

1. Update to bios 0507
2. PCI-E @101MHz, PCI@33.3MHz
3. Memory @533, manually set timings (5-5-5-18 - more in the atached screen)
4. disabled speedstep, C1E
5. CPU Voltage 1.35V, mem voltage 1.9V
6. FSB up: 300(fine), 325(fine), 350(failure)

And the thing is, this won't do. Even FSB 350 MHz isn't stable - the PC simply restarted after 10 minutes of orthos (double SP2004). So I tried to chceck if the mobo is the problem, so simply lowered the cpu multiplier to x7 and set FSB 350 MHZ -> restart in orthos after ~5 minutes. 360 MHz ended up in a bluescreen, 375 MHZ - bluescreen.

My E6400 can do 338x8=2.7 GHz 1.20V (didn't try lower voltage), but the PC isn't stable even at 8x350=2.8 GHz 1.35V. My sticks can do DDR850 CL4 1.8V, and much more with 2.3V, so I set 2.2V 5-6-6-18, but the problem isn't solved. The full load temperature is 56*C coretemp and 54*C PcProbe2. I added a 92mm 2000RPM fan blowing at the sticks and NB. What else can I do, apart from throwing this       MB out of the window?

BTW, what does CPU TM function do? I enabled and disabled it, but didn't change anything. TIA for your feedback.

try to give the SB more voltage first:)

trying jumping to 400FSB (with x7) first.... see if it works out.....

My P5B-D seems to have a wall at ~345 too.

that's odd the p5b deluxe seems to be doing really well. this guy here claims it beats the dq6 by 6%.

There are other threads saying that the P5B Deluxe has trouble with any FSB's in the 300's but 400+ works fine with lower multipliers. I returned mine also, due to total and complete failures below 400fsb that I described in another thread, but I may or may not try another one above 400fsb in the next couple of days.

might want to try the spd on full auto, i really didn't have to adjust much of anything to hit 400

OK, this is what I did - I simply set FSB 400 MHz and it works stably. Yet another problem has appeared - look what this       mobo did . 3D results dropped by 50%.

EDIT: most overclockers say, that if you OC, you shouldn't leave PCI-E frequency to AUTO and set is as 101 MHz or so. But when I set PCI-E frequency to AUTO, my 7900GT returned to x16 width link and is working just fine. So be aware - auto doesn't always mean worse. Now I'll try to OC my CPU some more and hopefullt I won't experience any problems.
