Need help trying to recover some data from thunb drive

Hey guys I really could use any help with this. I need to try and recover data from a usb thumb drive that appears to not be working. I plug it in but it doesnt show up at all, no noise when i plug it or lil bubble saying new hardware found, so it is just not showing up at all.

There is some work I need from it, that I really need to get so if anybody has any ideas on how to get it working or how to get that data I would really appreciate it.

give to the fbi and say it has child pron on it :P

sure they can find the data, then you just have to find out how to get the data from them....

Have you tried plugging it into other USB ports and/or other computers?

If neither of those work, you're hooped I'm sorry to say. If they do, I'd start troubleshooting your hardware.

man ive tried a few dif pcs so its just dead then i suppose ty for response

Ring the FBI and ask if you can pop in to see thier computers and the like.

Then do a runner with the data recovery gear.
