Re-formation of the XS_D2OL team?

Well seeing as what is going on over at rosetta i'm interested in knowing who is going to shift back to D2OL. i normally will be bringing my full setup back to D2OL or stick with rosetta part time and parttime D2OL. either way a piece of my productional capacity is comming back to D2OL and I want to know who is making the step back to.

you might have a problem with thoose nodes as they are maybe out of the ranking.
There was a node-desaster somewhere around the beginning of the year.
Nodes created before a certain date are "unassigned" and not belonging to the team. I was able to reach adam (think he was it) in the d2ol forums and let him add 5 of my most important nodes but I have 2 nodes he never added until now, and so I'm missing ~3-4k cands :(
If you have such problem you can check when loggin in on the d2ol page and see how many nodes "are awaiting a statistic to be generated".

Well I see that points have been coming in since the change and I havent added any new systems. So unless entity has had a system going. Cheers for the heads up I will have a look at some stage.

yhea my mom's sempron should still be crunching out numbers i reckon. before I logged in to add the sempron we had 2 nodes crunching, the rest were all unassigned :s

I have the 3200+ and 3 GHZ P4 running 24/7, my 1.8 GHZ server is running 24/7 but the compressorcooled X2 is only running over night. Looks harder I thought to break 500/day but I won't give up :D

"Team Switch", one of the project-hoppers at DPC came to D²OL... they'll stay there for a limited time, not permanently.

And the good news is: I got the DX up and running again :woot:
One of the traces on the back of the board was shorted by a nut but that's fixed now and nothing was damaged:)
It should be spitting out points soon (tomorrow or so, I worked on it till 3 o'clock last night and have to go to work in a few hours)

my output will decrease over the week-end because I'm away. But 2 weeks of school will give me more time for running my compressorcooled rig, unfortunatly 1 rig on work is down for 2 weeks, hopefully the other one keeps running while I'm away.

Helping with my compressorcooled rig as well but some low-volt DDR1 RAM and another X2 with at least 3.1 gig under phase would be much better :(

Still fighting Tooth n Nail with the bloody Asrock board (Dual SATA II)... it's booting intermittantly with CH-6 in it... put standard stuff in it, it boots fine.. (doesn't like TCCD-F at all), but I only have 256MB of DDR400, and it's borrowed. Waiting for a 1GB stick to arrive (swapped NF-7S for it), but until then, I am determined it will NOT beat me on this one...

As & when it runs stably, it'll be put on D2OL within the hour.

the only thing you have to look at: are your points counting for the team you're in or are these points getting to "unassigned".
There was a node reset and all nodes created before a certain date (iirc somewhere Jan '06) are not belonging to their original teams anymore. If you have this problem, the easiest way is to re-install the client.

I've got 3 nodes in total now, my bro's Opteron 175 (my old CPU that I handed down). Both my cores, one of my cores only activates when I'm not at the computer (screensaver) and same with my brothers :). Obviously If I am playing an intensive game then I might need to temporarily stop D2OL.

Almost the whole team is on WCG (so am I with one rig) for the moment, we are the "left-overs":p: defending our n°1 spot in D²OL... but I agree, we could use some Conroe crunchers right now.

On the other hand, this community is mainly into overclocking, us crunchers are a minority who dedicate our resources to a good cause. It would be nice if more people contributed, but I fully understand that (for 99% of the members) it is not the main reason for being here.

Ive been on exchange in singapore and am just getting back into the swing of things. Built my friend a 805 @ 3.3 a couple of months ago, my good ol Winchester @ 2.25, and my bro's Venice @ 2.4, plus I'm a LA at UBC so I got all the lab computers crunching, although they are connected via dodgy wireless, so it takes some significant maitenence. Overall I should be eventually putting out around 1000 a day I suppose, but probably will vary a lot.

I'm still using D²OLdaddy, it does the job nicely.
On the rigs with the service install I use Hellheims Watchdog since it's included in the installer.

So that's 2 DX + 1 XP2200+ running D²OL.
One DX running WCG and Leiden Classical.

And I scored me a free s754 board... someone tossed it in the trash, it was inside a Thermaltake case with intact PSU and all case fans present :eek:
Even had a MSI GF5200 vid card on it, testing that one tomorrow, testing the board as soon as i can find me some Sempron cpu.
Board is Asus K8N8X-LA (manufactured for HP/Compaq), options in bios will be limited i guess but hey: it's a freebee :p: (if it still works that is).

Anyone on the team who has a spare s754 cpu, give me a sign;)

Anyway, I am getting a P4 2.4 northwood for cheap:) Already have ram, case, p/s hdd just need a mobo and h/s anyone have one or know of a good board for a p4 s478? The only new one I can find is an asrock :rolleyes:
