I've got a couple of WD Raptor's installed right now, and was using them in RAID 0. I have also had a couple of WD Caviar SE 16's as well, and before used them in RAID 0. Earlier yesterday, I decided to go into the RAID configuration, and delete everything off the Caviar's, and turn it into a RAID 1, however, is there a reason as to why i can't get it to show up in "My Computer" ? It's baffling me, as I want to be able to use it as storage...
Did a full reformat, and it's still the same. Any help is much appreciated.

what exactly are you trying to see in "my computer" ????
Raid1 is the duplication of the information of one drive on multiple drives. WIth No increased capacity.

Trying to see the physical volume in there so I can put stuff onto it...or is that just not possible? :P

it should automatically appear once formatted and you select properties. unless you didn't already do the format or you are using a software raid that failed.
If so I would suggest removing all but those two discs and setting up the Raid in your Bios

i <3 you NN :) ;)
The array actually did fail, however, it didn't show that way in the post screen. Rebuilt it, and formatted.

make sure to do hardware raid (that requires the computer to be shut down) it will give a better performance than software ;)
