well, my secondary system is out of the picture for a bit... i had it running great, ran windows update, it installed dx9, and that killed my sound, well, considering that this system is mainly used as my alarm clock, that was no good, so i back off the oc so that i can get a fresh install of winblows 98 or 2k, and alas, my cdrom drive is dead... only option that i could get to work is to install Redhat 8 via the network, so i'm doing that now... i'll get folding set up as soon as i get the sound working, but that may take a while if memory serves correctly about the board i'm using... sorry, just had to vent about windows being a pain the arse... at least my p4 is still going strong. oh yeah, any of you know if a amd k6/266 would finish wu's in time? it's gonna be my new alarm clock, and if it'll be worth it, i can get f@h running on it as well... cheers to all, and fold on

that's kinda what i figured, but since my 2 current systems are 2.7 ghz and 1.4 ghz i wasn't sure how long it would take for 'em to run on that slow of a system... i've got my 1.4 back up now, running linux, but folding is going along quite nicely... thanks for the input, maybe i can get win98 installed on it in the next day or two, and then we'll have a little more help :D
