Might wanna fix that bud, ya put up your 3DM05 score again instead of your 3DM06 scores :)

I musta missed it, but what RAM is that you're running?? I already got my board & CPU, need to order my RAM tomorrow. Mobo & CPU is a 3800+ 2.4ghz on a Asus Crosshair. Really curious to see how this and the DFI stack up. This Crosshair has a helluva lot of settings though. sheesh.....check this out...

pcmoddingmy, may i will answer ur question? http://xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=112451

DRAM Voltage - Max 3.0V!!

Memory Drive Strength

Memory Timing

DDR2 - CL2 !!!!????

HTT Max 500MHz !!

Yea.. the BIOS offers 500HTT... but I'm interested to know the max. bootable HTT.
My UltraII-M2 allows up to 450HTT but can only boot at 440HTT. I'm hoping the NF590SLI does at least 450HTT.

pcmoddingmy, spin 9's board max HTT is only 305: http://xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=112451&page=3

- 305 MHz HTT reached.

Actually, I don't think that's the max HTT coz he was going for high MEM at CL3.
Max HTT should be done with low CPU & MEM dividers.

I think maximum htt is betwin 380-400, coolaler already reached ~350

maybe too early to tell with these new bios, it will take some revs to get it to the point, as usual on DFI. Good there is such a huge community on DFI boards that ensures that optimal results will be achieved, later on.

i must admit i am a fanboy since i first tried DFI, and all that tweaking is in my opinion, what overclocking is about. You feel you are in control of all parameters, no AUTO options around ;)

wow that's very nice coolaler, thanks for sharing.

That board looks to be a friggin' monster, absolutely fab overclock on a 3000+ with stock hsf too. :toast:

How effective would it be, there are not many that are W/C the nb/sb it more money for how much benefit, there is no evidence (that I am aware of anyway) that cooling hte NB/SB would really yield a performance increase.

Just a matter of running a little cooler, though giving the ICs longer life maybe.

coolaler would you mind posting some of the setting you might have used to hit 333fsb on this board.
i have one and can get to 295fsb with clockgen but no further no matter what i try.

did you make any hardware changes like to the coolers on the north or southbridge that had any effect?

also has anyone seen a bios besides the shipping one available?

thanks for any info :)
