x1800xt dual moniters

i just got another lcd monitor. I wanted to know if there is a way to have one montitor display windows and the other to use to play games. i had the second moniter to display the desktop but it would only show the wallpaper. i cant see the window tool bar or anything.

i forgot to add that one is 20" 16:10 and the other is 15" 4:3 does that make a difference?

You're pretty limited with ATI software alone. I've been using Ultramon for years now, can't live without it. It'll do what you're looking for and then some. There's even a full featured trial version to play with: http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/
