I have a PentiumD installed along with a legit WinXP Home, but even after installing SP2, the task manager still only displays CPU usage chart, does anyone know how to fix it?

r u sure? Run one instance of prime 95 not sp2004, thne see what ur uasage is, if its 50% then ur dual core is working, if its 100% then its not working.

you do a fresh install or just upgraded the CPU? I knwo on the AMD side peopel were having to do garbage for 2 core recognition.

I scrapped home, and went to a *ahem* version of Pro, and it worked.
