View Full Version : How I disable cpu throttling?
Ok Conroe is hot not doubt about it! I notice in everest with system stability test when I prime it start throttling when reaches around 78oC(according to easy tune). Is there a way to disable throttling exept buying a tuniq tower :P (I have vapochill micro which is better than stock by the way)
Thanx in advance.
You simply dont exceed them limits , that is for its threshold , when you overvolt your cpu badly and dont use HSF for cooling you might then see them temps.
However you can go in the BIOS and set it that if it exceeds 70c then it automatically shutdowns the PC.

How much voltage are you using that you're hitting 78C under load? You might want to check to see if there is daylight under your CPU cooler lol.
