ATI Overdrive question

Ok, so here's my problem.

I like to play oblivion while watching say baseball on mlb.tv.

Thus I would play oblivion windowed.
However, when I play windowed, ati overdrive won't ramp up my x1900xt card and it'll stay at 500/600 clock speeds.

Is there any way to get around this? Maybe uninstalling catalyst control center or some other add-on program? thanks for the help.

Who says it won't? To my knowledge as long as there is a 3D application detected, the speeds will increase--windowed or not.

I'll corroborate this: I run guildwars windowed a lot, the core & memory clock back down to 2d speed as soon as I leave fullscreen 3d mode :(

When I want to run windowed mode games I usually just fire up ATITool and set the clock speeds ^^ the only problem is going windowed -> fullscreen -> windowed, then the driver resets clock speeds to 2d mode again :P
