ALL messages still go to dead links, every one of them, I have to go the the only contact on my favourites and physically look for the message, this has been like this since day 1 and is starting to get a bit ? boring, to say the least.

OK the message you just sent me, I had to go back to the only link that works and manually find the message you sent, Dead links for absolutely everything to do with the site.
Sure once inside it works but if you send me another message I will have to go and look for it manually, on EVERY one.
And honestly I'm getting real sick of it, instead of just clicking on the message link i have to look for it manually, 1000 times worse than the MS site.
Excuse me if you dont get a reply from another message, this has been like this since day 1.

It appears that you may have to use WordPad to do the redirect.
You can edit the host file with WordPad.
It is located in the
C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc directory
You will need to add this line at the bottom of the hosts file.
Copy and past the line below.
65.160.22.36 www.xtremesystems.org
Perhaps that is what you need for now?

Every link in the entire world works fine, Xtrems systems does not.
I'm on ADSL here and the settings will find the site automatically unless there is a problem with your server still.

xtremesystems are having problems with their DNS server so are in the process of making their own, but getting these changes reflected on every DNS server worldwide (which is a few MILLION) takes time, which means the address www.xtremesystems.org will not work with the forums. All you need to do is when you clik the links, when they open in ie replace the www.xtremesystems.org bit with 65.160.22.36, or as recommended above, edit the HOSTS file on one machine and copy it over to all the others, then they'll all work fine.
Remember XS provide these forums FREE for us to use... but it costs them BIG TIME... with over 1 terabyte of bandwidth consumed by the forums alone per month you can imagine how much these guys are shelling out from their own pocket to keep this site going, they aren't a company making profit, just a bunch of enthusiasts who provide us with the best information service bar-none... we have to be patient and bear with them while they sort out these probs... XS Staff and Members are working round the clock to get everything up n running the way it should be and help in whatever way they can... you jsut happened to join up at a bad time... :)

Not sure if that was intended as a joke or not but it didnt appear to be. Please be wary of flaming, it is not looked upon lightly here. If intended as a joke, my apologies. Didnt appear to however.
Thank You
