i took out my video card to test my roomates cpu&board put video card back in mine and now sometimes it wont post video first try have to shut off and try again?? this on dfi ultra d 939 and a radeon 1600xt... oh and also seems to be only aftter a few hours off or overnight
:confused: ps i just noticed and changed this it was set to display first pci not pci-e which is what i have

did you try to reseat the video card since this started happing? also try reseating the ram and power supply connections in case you bumped when swaping the videocard.

dang it sucker just did it again all i did was remove video card and put back in and i dont even know what componet it is ...and yes i reseated video card like 3 times and it took it 8 hours to do it this time what it did this time was i was looking at internet and screen went blank :slapass:

are you making sure your grounded to your computer case before touching anything?

just ran mem test in bios no errors runnin sp2004 2 instances no errors yet

ran 3d mark 03 and it crashed my system but how can i be sure its the vid card that crashed?? and not cpu or ram??well looks like was video card drivers it crashed twice tryin to run 3dmark 03 put new video card drivers in and 3d mark has run completly 5 times in a row

vid card or drivers. try drivers 1st. then do a lil heat building with ati tool.

it would appear it was my motherboard bios it was crashin in bios even when i was in bios it crashed while i was switchin from 1 screen to another blue bios screen was still there but all numbers and stuff vanished was just blue screen so i reflashed motherboard bios from cd i had with same 704 bt2a bios
