Ok my card is a 7900 gx2 not the 7950 version, which pretty much means its the monster version that came with alienwares quadsli....30cms long....My question is will a standard volt mod from a 7900 work on this card...I can pretty much identify all the resistors on the card by camparing and will be using the attached picture as a guide...Because I can locate the exact chip on my card...mem voltage I cant locate so I guess Ill just stick with the vgpu volt mod....I have the best cooling in the world two 100cfm intake and outake over the cards (dremelled the case) so im not worried too much about that....any comments or concerns are highly appreciated. cheers

Is the current Vgpu 1.2 Volt?
If it is, thare is not much you can do wrong by applying those Vmodd's.

air is hardly the best cooling in the world. definately not the quietest either.
btw the memory v mods are out there somewhere i've seen regular 7900s get both done, really seems to help the o.c. ...good luck

Not the best cooling, I meant I had really good temps 58 degrees full load, closed case....(airconditioning house 24/7)
Yes it has stock 1.2 volts but thats why I want to do the volt mod to 1.4
what do you mean by I cant do much with those vmods?
cheers and thanks again

i said, "there is not much you can do wrong" meaning that the risk is the same as modding a straightforward 7900GT.
