Well this is for a customer, does no gaming, just internet type stuff.
I want PCI for him so he doesn't need a new one when he upgrades in the future (unless they end up getting rid of PCI).

Should I trust open box? Or do you have any better recommendations? Cheapest you can find, but something that will work okay for windows.
Thanks,

As long as it will work with the lastest drives (or new ish) then i would say it should be fine, but I would check that first ... you don't want to get it home and not have any drivers for it.

I would get a geForce 61xx series based motherboard and use the onboard graphics.
That would be faster than the card you linked to and include the mobo.
Just make sure you pick one with a PCIe x16 slot for future upgrades.
I just built a machine for a customer with this board: newegg link (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138027). Fantastic budget board w/ x16 slot.

heh, it's a socket A XP 2000+ CPU, I'm just replacing the mobo and the video card was AGP 2x :wiggle:
