I Know it's pretty slack, but blame Tyan boards, I will be getting something else next time, they do OK while working but these are boards less than 6 weeks old, one lasted 5 days, the second about 10 days, the last one 6 weeks.

besides, as overclocking boards they make great desk ornaments, the only genuine way to hasten them along is to bung in the biggest cpu the thing will take, the lazy man's overclock.

All with a similar problem, once shut down nornally they either just act dead or refuse to be controlled with mouse or keyboard, the first two did, while the third just refused to do anything on restart, as to why a PSU and HDD went out in syspathy (all while shut down) lost me why.

I tried punching and kicking it, the std approved high tech way, with no luck, even showed it a gun but it refused to do anything, not even a beep nothing so threats don't work.

Many others will respond to threats of being turned into beer cans with surprising success, MSI will respond this way 6/10 times.
Yes all that crap they teach ya at uni does nothing like a good old fashioned threat. LOL

I'll add the O/C's tonight and see what happens, it's a worry only doing 800 or so a day, darn embarassing nearly.

Odd, The board I had worked great and flawlessly for me for months, only sold it so I could get an MSI for the O/C'in capabilites. Wish I couldda kept it, was a nice board, just couldnt afford both.

I guess that was with the last team, not sure what happens now at a new team ? might have to do it again, anyway when I started there I did 500 / week for a few months out of 5 months total. several were over 1K a day, depends on the W/U's they are giving out.

Boards ? a dodgy batch maybe, they were all bought from the same place within a few weeks. the "new" ones they sent back work fine.

I was pretty good friends with scoobert, I could try ?

He is on that list a few ahead of me now, only due to all my systems being shut down for three days. we had many a good contest for many thousands of points.

Then one dual died, now last night I have had to change each PC's nappy every upload to avoid them darn genomes, so I'm kinda wrung out here this morning and had to just let some boxes do what they wanted, they would do one gromac and then switch to a 65 core.

Try that on 15 boxes every upload on every box, where a new download of every FAH3Console .exe every upload, that's hard core / stupid ??

Want the points ? sometimes you have to work for em, and some think it's just a matter of turning em on and forgetting them, I wish it was that easy.:brick: :rotf:
