Boot bug Asus P5B Deluxe

Hi there,

justed wanted to know wether all P5B owners experience the boot bug when exceeding a specific FSB.

Why does the board start, switch off and then start again after a Windows restart or even when COLD BOOTING?

On other boards like the P5W DH Deluxe and P5WD2 this is limited to restarts and does not include a cold boot.

What could be the reasons for this phenomenon?

Yeah I have a similiar issue but it's no big deal. It happens right after I OC.

Yeah, same issue here but it doesn't seem like that big of a deal as everything works fine. My p5wd2-e and p5wd2-prem both had similar issues. I just hope it doesn't interphere with phase controller when new unit arrives.

I could understand the switching off process after making OC BIOS changes (Safety to verify that you are able to cold boot with the new settings) but not after a cold reboot in the morning...
