Hey guys,

Have got a little trouble going here.

I am running this board w/ 1334 BIOS.

For whatever reason, I cannot change the vcore on this board.

I can change everything else, FSB, Burn-in, etc, but I cannot change the vcore, and get it to take for anything.

I have the 8 pin connector plugged into the board, and for whatever reason, cannot change this.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance!

You will need to do the "OC DEBUG" mod to the board inorder to unlock the voltage settings.

3rd one on that page :)

You're running the X6800 so no mods are necessary on your board to make Vcore visible. It sounds like what you are saying is that you set a new voltage but it does not stay set. Is that correct?

I know that if you don't disable EIST that it will reset your Vcore voltage when speedstep kicks in. Once speedstep starts doing-its-thing your programmed BIOS values will get canned. Personally, I disabled EIST and C1E before attempting any overclocking. Although, I found that my E6400 will OC very well at standard voltages (no uber OC here). Also, verify these functions are off by using a 3rd party program like RightMark CPU Clock Utility. You can manage both EIST and C1E with this app (still need to disable them in BIOS, though).
