well my rig b4 i parted with it was an opteron 170@2.6ghz, dfi sli-dr, 2gb ocz plat, 7800gtx

rig that should be up by thursday will be either E6400 or E6600 (depends on if my contact gets the E6600 tomorrow) i will most likely pick up a fe wmobos, msi 975x, DS3, foxconn 975xab (at least ds3 as its cheap and should be enough to hold me over till we find a clear winner)
so it looks like this

MMOs have dumbed down graphics so that your little brother/sister can fight imaginary dragons with their x300s or nv 6200s...at a decent framerate.

Hummm... I dont think any of these games are "Next-Gen", not even Crysis. Basically all of them have been in develpoment with DX9.0c or so. To be a true "Next-Gen" game it has be developed entirely from the ground up around DX 10. So that means don't expect any "good" (graphically speaking) game until around 2008, as to give to give time for the fabrication process. Also by 2008 hardware physics should become standard, so no more getting stuck around something because you can't blast through it. This is what im waiting for, everything else till then should not be called "Next-Gen", because they are not... Just my opinion.

I am also looking to play the Ceaser demo, should be cool.

Yes that should run Crysis great. You will probably need a better PSU for the R600 though. I just got a OCZ GameXStream 700W in preparation for the R600.

I am missing "Two worlds". It will come out Q4 2006 and is something like Gothic3 and Oblivion. In an early inderview a coop mode was mentioned.
Graphic wise its already looking like a next gen game for the list. I am gonna see if I can find some more infos and/or screenshots.
