Hi, Ive got a Gigabyte DS3, XMS2 6400 memory & a X1900 XT. I updated the bios from F3 (which worked fine :/) to F4e. Now this is strange.....when I boot the fans spin up for few secs then stop...then spin up for few secs then stop....this repeats for ever & doesnt post. Ive cleared Cmos for hours, taken out battery, diffrent ram slots everything. Ive taken the board out of the case & still nada!
Is the Bios corrupt? RMA time? Ive tried everything apart from new ram. BTW this ram booted up @ 1.8v with the f1 & f3 bios.
PLEASE HELP!

well if everything was fine before the bios flash it could have been a bad flash
call gigabyte and ask for a new bios chip
both times/companies ive done it its been free
Read everything that is written here:

The F4E bios was actually for another gigabyte board and you are not the 1st one with this problem

all you need is a new bios chip, right?
It doesn't have a regular bios chip but most likely spi flash device. Not so easy to replace/reflash it
